KWALI LOSSES, GETS NEW SUBSTANTIVE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE.

Kwali Area Council has lost Alhaji Sidi-Ali Abdullahi to retirement from active service.

Alhaji Abdullahi, on January 01, 2024, attained the mandatory sixty (60) years of age limit for the Civil Service retired as Director of Finance.

Alhaji Abdullahi, throughout his tenure as Director of Finance, steered the ship through challenges, inspired teams, and played a pivotal role in the development of the Area Council.

Meanwhile, Hajiya Rabi Mohammad Loko has resumed as the new substantive Director of Finance, otherwise known as Council Treasurer (CT).

Hajiya Loko resumed on Monday, February 12, 2024 to fill in the substansive vacuum that was created after the retirement of the erstwhile Director.

She is a distinguished professional with a background in finance management and regulation, chartered accounting, and public policy.

The new Director is the first woman to mount the highly-coveted position in the Area Council, and until her new role, she was Director of Internal Audit Department, Gwagwalada Area Council.
